Safety Personnel
- Personnel / workforce (age 18 years & above) shall be deployed at site and they should be physically / medically fit.
- Site contractors and their workforce should restrict their activities to the site allocated to them.
- All contract workforce shall wear standard IS make PPEs like gloves, goggles, face shields, safety belt, Safety Helmets, Safety Shoes etc
during construction. No contractor personnel is permitted to enter the construction site without wearing safety helmet & safety shoes.
Any damaged PPEs shall be taken out immediately from use and shall be disposed off properly.
- The contractor shall ensure that their workforce do not interfere with the facilities in operation and should not operate
any Valves/ Switches etc.
- The contractor shall ensure that his workforce do not move around freely inside process plant other than the assigned place of work & also do
not sleep anywhere inside plant premises.
- The workforce engaged by the Contractor shall maintain good conduct and discipline inside plant premises.
- The contractor Supervisors and Engineers must get themselves conversant with CLIENT/OWNER’s standard safety procedures, safety norms,
Rules and Regulations that are in force. They must also be conversant with the CLIENT/OWNER’s Emergency Procedures and Emergency telephone numbers
and should ensure display of same at prominent place.
